Disruptive timesheet startup launches freemium service

Major disruptor in the timesheet market, Bristol-based startup SaveTrees has recently launched an updated version of their simple, online service which enables contractors, agencies, and their clients to submit and approve timesheets.

After becoming frustrated by the existing timesheet providers in the market who many find expensive, difficult to use and offer inflexible contracts, founders James Warrack and Jeremy Clarke started SaveTrees with the aim of developing an online, intuitive timesheet submission service for both contractors, recruiters and their clients. During the latest Beta test, they have been welcoming new users, gaining insights and iterating regular improvements to their service.

James Warrack, co-Founder and Director says: “Anyone can access all features of our timesheet service, and it’s always free for the first 4 contractors. After that, we have a simple credit system so whether you have 5 or 500 contractors, you can scale up or down to your requirements and this pricing structure means that it’s affordable for agencies who provide low paid temps up to high day rate contractors”

9 months after launch, SaveTrees already has hundreds of contractors regularly using the system to submit their hours.

“We are an agile team which means we are able to listen to user feedback and carry out updates quickly, for example, last month a client of ours said they would really benefit from a holiday option which we were able to update immediately. We have big plans for SaveTrees, and will continue to add features which make it faster and more intuitive.” says Jeremy Clarke, co-Founder and Director.

The web-based service is also available to companies with permanent employees who are looking for a simple way to log their hours. It can be white-labelled to the client’s own brand, saving them time and money in having to set up their own system.

If users come on board before their 1 year anniversary at the end of September 2019, those customers will receive a 25% lifelong discount as a thank you.
